Adivasi youth brutalized by urinating on him in Madhya Pradesh. The accused Pravesh Shukla was arrested. He was arrested from Kubri yesterday morning following an urgent directive from Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The police informed that a case has been registered under the National Security Act. The person who shot the video was also arrested.
The incident happened last night. The accused used obscene words and then urinated on the youth who was on the ground.
The opposition, which made the incident controversial as the assembly elections were near, alleged that the accused was related to BJP MLA Kedarnath Shukla. BJP has appointed a four-member committee to investigate the incident, state party president V.D. Sharma said.
PCC president Kamal Nath responded that the heinous act should not be a shame for the state and demanded that Madhya Pradesh ranks first in atrocities against tribals and that the culprits should be punished. BSP leader Mayawati also responded that the incident was shameful and highly condemnable.
