The list of those who bought electoral bonds is out. 75 percent of bonds to BJP. Big names on the list include vaccine maker Serum Institute. In the published list there is no information about who bought from whom. There are only paid parties and companies. CPM and CPI are the only political parties that did not make the list.
Bharti Airtel, IndiGo, SunPharma, Vedanta, SpiceJet, PVR Ltd, ITC, MRF, Bajaj Finance and Phenolics topped the list. Future Gaming Company bought the most bonds. Megha (Meil) Engineering Company, a National Highway sub-contractor, which faced action by the Income Tax Department, bought electoral bonds worth Rs 980 crore.
