Thiruvananthapuram : High temperature alert in the state today. As part of the alert, the Central Meteorological Department has announced yellow alert in five districts.
Today and tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday) Palakkad district will record high temperature of 39°C, Kollam district will record high temperature of 38°C, Pathanamthitta district will record high temperature of 37°C, and Thiruvananthapuram and Alappuzha districts will record high temperature of 36°C.
The temperature may rise by two to four degrees Celsius above normal, so be careful. The Met department also said that due to high temperature and humid air, hot and humid weather is also likely in these districts, except in the hilly areas.
