Court finds Monson Maungkal guilty in POCSO case. The Ernakulam POCSO Court gave the judgment in the case. The verdict of the court is in the case of molesting a minor girl. The incident related to the case took place in 2019.
The case is that the maid's daughter was molested at her house in Kalur by promising her further education. The incident happened when the girl was seventeen years old. The complaint is that the child was molested more than once. Apart from the house in Kalur, there was harassment in another house in Kochi itself.
The girl's mother filed a complaint with the city police commissioner after Monson was arrested in 2021 in the antiquities fraud case. The girl's mother had given a statement to the police that she did not file a complaint because she was afraid of Monson. Ernakulam POCSO Court Judge K Soman is ruling the case.
