Maharalli of India Coalition started at Ramlila Maidan against ED and Central Government for arresting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. 28 opposition parties are participating in the rally which is a demonstration against the central government. Arvind Kejriwal, who is in ED custody, was read out by his wife Sunita Kejriwal at the venue.
Sunitha read the six promises made by Kejriwal in connection with the Lok Sabha elections. To Sunita's question whether Kejriwal should resign, the crowd replied no.
Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav and others lined up in the rally. Kalpana Soren, the wife of arrested former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, also reached the stage.
